Lenovo, one of the world’s largest PC manufacturers, launched a "Partner Stimulus Package" to its channel partners in North America. The initiative was introduced in response to the uncertain economic conditions evolving globally as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lenovo Partner Stimulus Package is aimed to make earnings more predictable for partners, enable faster payouts and extend financing terms.
The package offers financing support that will give eligible partners extended terms of 90 days, instead of 60, through the Lenovo Partner Credit Program in partnership with DLL. The 30-day extension (available now through June 30) will substantially offer more financial flexibility and free up cash flows available to U.S. and Canadian partners.
"Lenovo is grateful for the continued partnership with DLL to facilitate financing,” said Rob Cato, Vice President, North America Channel, Lenovo. “With DLL’s support, Lenovo is pleased to offer a Partner Stimulus Package to eligible solution providers, during these unprecedented times.”
DLL has worked with Lenovo to create a financial offering that will support the partner ecosystem with business challenges that may arise during this unprecedented time. “We are proud to offer a financial solution that will further support the Lenovo Solution Provider community. Working together for the mutual benefit of not just our vendor partners, but resellers and end users is part of the DLL DNA,” stated Rob Abelman, Global VP of Program Management and New Business Development, DLL.
In addition to financing support through DLL, Lenovo will replace target-based incentive programs with flat rate ones and earnings will be provided to partners every 30 instead of every 90 days through June 30. Sales incentive programs will continue through the Partner Stimulus Package.
