CHP Consulting has announced a three-year program to refresh the core portfolio management systems of a prominent captive automotive finance company in North America.
To support this blue-chip captive and CHP’s other automotive finance clients, the firm has also opened a new U.S. headquarters in the Metro Detroit area.
The scope of the new project, in which CHP’s ALFA Systems platform will replace various outdated legacy mainframe solutions, includes commercial vehicle, retail loan and retail lease operations.
Richard Raistrick, CHP’s Director of Operations in North America, commented: “This is a hugely important project for CHP as it brings the ALFA solution to the North American automotive finance market for the first time, and we are delighted to have a well respected flagship client. We are already implementing with a second major auto client, and our new HQ will help support these household names - as well as, hopefully, many more in the future.”
Robert Johnson, CHP’s recently appointed Global Head of Automotive Finance, said: “ALFA brings fresh thinking to the automotive finance market, both in terms of its business efficiency and the technology underpinning it. There is a huge demand out there, as operators are looking to position for the future after several years of constrained investment. Decision makers are recognising that a new approach is required, and CHP and ALFA are perfectly placed to deliver.”
CHP is actively recruiting graduates and professionals experienced in auto finance and technology.
CHP has offices in London, Paris, Detroit and Sydney.
