Key Equipment Finance has promoted Ronnie Evans to director of commercial marine finance. In this role, Evans will be based out of South Louisiana, and will be responsible for the growth and management of Key Equipment Finance’s growing marine portfolio in the Northeast, Middle Atlantic, Southeast, and the Great Lakes and Gulf Coast regions.

“Ronnie has 20 years of experience in the equipment finance industry, particularly in transportation equipment financing,” said Joe Messineo, senior vice president of sales for the Eastern region for Key Equipment Finance. “Marine finance continues to be an important focus for us, and I look forward to working with Ronnie to provide equipment financing solutions to this growing transportation sector.”

Evans came to work for Key in 2008 with more than 14 years of experience in the equipment finance industry focused mainly on transportation. He majored in business at Louisiana State University and is active in promoting the marine industry as a member of the American Waterway Operators, and is a panelist at many marine conferences and forums.
