AINOnline reported worldwide business jet deliveries rose by 4%, to 129 units, in the first quarter, while pressurized turboprops saw an increase of nearly 53% year-over-year according to statistics released GAMA.
According ot the report, billings for all GA airplanes–including pistons, turboprops and jets totaled $4.6 billion in the first three months, up 31.7% from the same period in 2012. The rise in jet deliveries was led by Gulfstream which increased year-over-year output by more than 50% Bombardier reported more than a 34% increase.
The report also cites that despite tHawker line, Beechcraft's recent emergence from bankruptcy protection, the company doubled deliveries of the Hawker 4000 from the previous year.
