The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association announced that Julie Benson has joined the organization as Director of Membership. In this position, Benson will lead ELFA's efforts to recruit, retain and renew members as well as oversee the association’s member database.

Benson previously worked as Director of Administration and Operations for the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI), a trade group representing the major insurers, asset managers, broker-dealers/distributors and 150,000 financial professionals in the insured retirement income industry. Prior to joining IRI, she served as Director of Marketing at Enviso Capital, LLC, a boutique financial services firm specializing in wealth management and alternative asset investment management. Previously she served as a Professional Sales Representative for McNeil Specialty Pharmaceuticals, where she sold pediatric, pharmaceutical and nutritional products to health care professionals and pharmacists. She has a B.A. in psychology from the University of California – Riverside and an MBA from California State University – Long Beach, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
