Business Development Manager, Industrial
Location: Remote

This position is within the Industrial Equipment Division. BDM will work out of their home office, with time in the corporate office to be determined. This position is responsible for developing relationships with industrial equipment dealers, manufacturers, and end-users in their territory to achieve volume goals set by management. This position works with our Credit and Operations disciplines to ensure best-in-class service to our customers. Extensive travel within territory is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to execute the Strategic Growth Plan for the region.
  • Established strategic industry relationships.
  • New business development by prospecting, qualifying, and closing profitable business at dealer / vendor and end customer levels.
  • Grow existing vendor programs throughout territory.
  • Develop strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor customers.
  • Assist in developing new accounts.
  • Work transactions from deal submittal through funding.
  • Negotiate transactions, help gather documentation and credit information.
  • Assist in negotiation and deal structuring.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Computer skills required: (T-Value; Salesforce; Microsoft Office)
  • Understands business implications of decisions. Displays orientation to profitability.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition.
  • Aligns work with strategic goals.
  • Accepts responsibility for own actions.
  • Follows through on commitments.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience or training.
  • Equivalent work experience considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
