Portfolio Lease Accountant
|
Location: Beverly Hills, CA or Remote
SLIM Capital is looking for a Portfolio Lease Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. The roles’ core responsibilities will be accounting-based, but the candidate must demonstrate a willingness to help out in other, critical departments as dictated by the day-to-day needs of the business. Experience in loan processing, specifically handling the transactional inflow and outflow of cash, is preferred but not required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Transactional Cash Management
- Preparing, drafting, and posting customer payments
- Scheduling and recording future payments
- Paying equipment vendors
- Deadline management on partner payouts
- Tracking, reporting and execution of originator payments
- Deal and Income Booking
- Booking deals into the Portfolio software
- Journal entries into QuickBooks
- Cash reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly and Quarterly Accounting Reports
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Trial Balance reports
- P&L reports
- 1099 reporting
- Portfolio Management
- Capital Source reporting and management
- Interest expense calculations, reporting and execution
- Data-Tape preparation and audit
- Reporting on Delinquencies, Principal/Interest Breakdowns, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Solid understanding of lease accounting standards and lease administration.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in lease accounting or a related field.
- CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
