Onset Financial's General Counsel, Scott Finlinson recently accepted an appointment to the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association Legal Committee. He will serve until November 2019.

Before joining Onset Financial full-time, Finlinson was an experienced corporate attorney whose practice focused on outstanding, cost-effective legal solutions for businesses. Finlinson has been named as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” for the last six years by Utah Business Magazine. He is an active member of the Utah State Bar and is a frequent presenter and lecturer. He has also served as the president of the Bar’s Business section.

“I look forward to representing Onset Financial on a national stage and advocating for the growth of our industry,” says Finlinson. “To have a chance to specialize in this field and lead out with some of the great legal minds in the leasing world is a great privilege.”

Finlinson is a graduate of the University of Utah College of Law, where he served on the Utah Law Review.
