Fortune magazine named U.S. Bancorp the most admired superregional bank today, the fifth consecutive year that U.S. Bancorp has topped the list.

U.S. Bancorp was also recognized among the top ten most admired of companies in all industries for six of Fortune’s nine key attributes of reputation: Management Quality (U.S. Bancorp no. 2 overall), Wise Use of Corporate Assets (4), Value as a Long-Term Investment (6), Soundness of Financial Position (7), Ability to Attract, Develop, and Retain Talent (8) and Community Responsibility (9).

In the superregional banks category, U.S. Bancorp ranked first in eight of the nine industry key attributes of reputation: Innovation, People Management, Use of Corporate Assets, Social Responsibility, Quality of Management, Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment Value and Quality of Products/Services.
