United Leasing & Finance, a subsidiary of United Companies, will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, continuing a tradition of bringing professional golf to the region and fostering charitable initiatives in southern Indiana.

With a $1.5-million purse and 30 coveted PGA Tour cards on the line, this event promises to deliver unforgettable moments on the road to the PGA Tour. This year marks the tournament’s debut from October 3 to 6 at the renowned Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort, a world-class venue known for its breathtaking views and challenging layout.

"We are thrilled to partner with French Lick Resort, and we couldn’t have found a better venue or partner to keep this event in southern Indiana," said Ronald Romain, Executive Chairman of United Companies. "The team at French Lick has been wonderful to work with, ensuring that this year’s championship is going to be unforgettable. Their commitment aligns perfectly with our aim to create a premier golf event that leaves a lasting, positive impact on southern Indiana.”

According to a study conducted by the University of Southern Indiana, the championship event generates an estimated $10 to $12 million annually in economic impact, providing a significant boost to the regional community and local businesses.

"When the PGA first approached us to become the title sponsor more than 13 years ago, we saw it as a unique opportunity to give back to our region while supporting local charities," said Ronald Romain. "Today, the tournament is a cornerstone event in southern Indiana, bringing significant economic benefits and opportunities for growth."

Not only does the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance boost the overall regional economy, but it also drives significant investments into charitable causes in southern Indiana. Through the Golf Gives Back nonprofit organization, established by United Leasing & Finance, proceeds from the championship event support early childhood education, specifically through 4C of Southern Indiana and Building Blocks. More than $2.5 million has been donated to local causes to date, providing at-risk children with access to high-quality early learning opportunities.

"Golf Gives Back is about more than just golf — it's about investing in the future of our community," said Amy Romain Barron, CEO of United Leasing & Finance. "Our partnership with Building Blocks helps create stronger foundations for children, giving them the tools they need for success before they even enter kindergarten. It's a mission we're incredibly proud to support."

The success of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship would not be possible without the dedication of hundreds of volunteers, the support of more than 100 corporate sponsors, and the hospitality of the local communities in West Baden Springs and French Lick.

"The volunteers are the heartbeat of this tournament,” said Amy Romain Barron. “Their passion and commitment ensure the success of this event year after year."

United Leasing & Finance extends its gratitude to the Golf Gives Back Board, the Executive Tournament Committee, and the team at French Lick Resort for their unwavering dedication in planning and executing this remarkable event.

As United Leasing & Finance enters the next phase of its partnership with the Korn Ferry Tour, the organization remains focused on making a lasting impact on the local community. With a five-year agreement to continue at French Lick Resort, the future of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance is brighter than ever.

"We’re excited for what lies ahead — greater golf experiences, stronger community ties, and unwavering support for early childhood education initiatives through Golf Gives Back," said Amy Romain Barron.
