Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work have honored First American Equipment Finance as one of this year’s Best Workplaces in New York. This is First American’s seventh consecutive year being named to this distinguished list, this year coming in 18th place in the small & medium category (10-999 FTE).

To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces in New York List, Great Place To Work collected more than 170,000 confidential survey responses from employees at eligible companies. In that survey, 98 percent of First American’s colleagues said First American is a great place to work. This number is 41 percent higher than the average U.S. company.

The Best Workplaces in New York list is highly competitive. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

Over the past five years, First American’s new business volume has grown substantially, from $1.03 billion in 2017 to $1.87 billion in 2022. During this time, the company created 100 new positions at its Victor, NY headquarters. First American’s vision is to become the best company to work for and the best company to work with.
