FORTUNE and Great Place to Work have honored First American Equipment Finance as one of the 2022 Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance (under 1,000 FTE). This is First American’s seventh time being named to this nationwide list, this year coming in at No. 10.

The Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 176,000 current employees. In that survey, 98 percent of First American’s employees said First American is a great place to work. This number is 39 percent higher than the average U.S. company.

The Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance award is highly competitive. Great Place to Work selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

Over the past five years, First American’s business volume has grown substantially, from $606 million in 2016 to $1.38 billion in 2021. During this time, the company created over 100 new positions at its newly built, state-of-the-art Rochester, NY headquarters.
