QuickFi founder and CEO Bill Verhelle sat down recently with FinTech Futures for its signature What the FinTech? podcast.

In the News in Numbers section, Verhelle discusses the importance of APIs and their key role in digital banking following a new Cornerstone Advisors report that revealed that roughly 40 percent of banks do not have an API strategy.

For the main discussion, Verhelle and FinTech Futures editor Paul Hindle discussed some of the main issues with current financing/lending models and the challenges small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) face when it comes to borrowing.
