The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) has posted an article by Bill Bosco, Principal of Leasing 101, and member of the ELFA Financial Accounting Committee, on the lease accounting project to the ELFA website. 

The article notes that feedback on the project reveals significant opposition, and more than 603 comment letters were submitted.  According to the article, roughly 80% of the letters were negative, while 10-15% were partly positive, and the remaining 5% were fully positive.

The article provides a summary of topics raised by those who commented and participated in the outreach sessions.
