DLL, a global financial solutions provider, announced the expansion of its partnership with Vermont-based 501C3 non-profit, One Tree Planted, benefitting reforestation efforts in 2022.

For every donation, One Tree Planted works with reforestation partners to plant trees and help to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities and protect habitat for biodiversity. Through the partnership, DLL’s Tech Solutions Global Business Unit has committed to planting one tree for every financing agreement signed electronically through the 2022 calendar year.

Since the partnership began in early 2021, DLL has donated to One Tree Planted for every contract that met the criteria in the United States and Canada. In 2022, that pledge will expand to include financing agreements signed electronically in Australia and the Nordics countries, too.

“We are thrilled to continue working with One Tree Planted to support reforestation in areas that need it most,” said Rick Trobman, President of Tech Solutions for DLL. “We’re extremely excited to not only continue this initiative, but to expand it to include electronically signed agreements from even more countries.”

In 2021, the Tech Solutions Global Business Unit partnered to plant 3,414 trees in regions such as California, Oregon, Michigan and Ottawa, Canada.
