This week’s Equipment Finance Cares Foundation Friday showcase is the Tour de Cure- American Diabetes Association. The interview is with Todd Buzard, from First American Equipment Finance.

On Aug. 26, 2016, Buzard’s son Ryan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. “It was a day I will never forget,” Todd Buzard said. “That day and the days that followed were filled with fear and many questions. Since then, thanks to a great medical team and amazing positivity, Ryan (and Todd’s family) has learned to manage his Type 1 Diabetes. Ryan is a normal fun-loving boy."

Todd’s family decided it wanted to make a difference in Ryan's life and the lives of others living with diabetes. They are participating in the Tour de Cure to raise money to prevent diabetes and improve the lives of all of those affected.
