Jeannie S. Douglas-Roberts, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at UnityPoint Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She spent most of her career in Naperville/Chicago, IL as an executive vice president in corporate finance for the Royal Bank of Scotland. She was accomplished in her career receiving numerous awards and recognition for exemplary service.

Most recently, she joined her husband Dave as the Vice President of J&D Restaurants in Des Moines. At home, Jeannie was equally accomplished and never missed a moment to spend time with family and friends. She would spend summers by the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, MO and Christmas on the beach in Fort Myers, FL. She loved going on vineyard tours overseas in the Mediterranean, and here at home in Napa Valley, CA. Jeannie was a fabulous cook and enjoyed playing cards and entertaining with family and friends. Jeannie is a beloved friend to all and always put others first. Her generosity, smile and laughter will be missed by all.
