October OLV index values for used equipment across the fourteen major rental category indices tracked by Rouse increased 0.1% from September values. For the six months ending October 31st, 2013, average index values are up 1.6%. Seven out of fourteen category indices recorded one-month value increases ranging from 0.4% for Telescopic Boom Aerial Work Platforms to 1.6% for Dozers.

October auction sales of rental & construction equipment tracked by Rouse averaged 3.1% higher than Rouse September FLV values. Rouse recorded 3,326 units that sold at 35 separate auction sales conducted across North America. The units represented a combined FLV (as of September 30th) of $84.0 million and generated $86.6 million of gross auction proceeds.
