The Leasing Foundation has appointed Andrew Denton (CHP Consulting) as its first CEO and Mary McNamara (Close Brothers) as Chair of Governors. Professor Peter Thomas will become the Foundation's COO.

Andrew Denton says: "These appointments are intended to ensure that the Foundation's growth is managed effectively. We're particularly delighted that Mary has committed to help the Foundation build its portfolio of new and challenging activities".

Peter Thomas notes: "The momentum we have gained through the support of our Governors and Fellows is exceptional as we continue to build the Foundation. This year will see our projects around giving, education and research move forward as we engage with more people and organisations who want to see change and development for the industry".

The Leasing Foundation First Annual Conference will take place on 30 September 2013 hosted by RBS in London.

The mission of the Leasing Foundation is to support the leasing and asset finance industry by providing focus and organisation for charitable activities, by performing rigorous, challenging and relevant research in areas that impact the industry and its future, and by seeking opportunities to sustain the industry by developing people in the industry. The Foundation is not a lobbying body or a trade association.
