International Decision Systems (IDS), the leading provider of asset finance software, announced today that Philip Benké has been appointed Senior Account Executive - Strategic Accounts EMEA based out of the company’s European Head Office in Basingstoke, England.
Mr. Benké brings to IDS over 20 years of worldwide sales experience in the asset finance industry, with particular expertise handling large global transactions for the IT market in the UK and Europe. In his most recent role, Mr. Benké acted as an independent IT finance lease consultant with Connexion Technology Finance Ltd where he successfully placed business with key IT financiers, built crucial reseller relationships, and developed innovative vendor financing programs.
Previously, Mr. Benké held the position of Global Leasing Account Manager with Avaya Financial Services (AFS), a unit of The CIT Group, where he demonstrated a proven ability to manage cross-border strategic accounts and transact pan-European agreements. Mr. Benké’s background also includes acting as Global Leasing Account Manager at Cisco Systems and as the European Key Account Manager for ECS United Kingdom Plc, a subsidiary of Société Générale.
