On November 5, CSI President & COO Steve Hamilton accepted, on behalf of CSI, the Greater St. Louis Top 50 Award, an awards program sponsored by the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (“RCGA”).
The 50 winners were selected based on their significant contributions to the St. Louis region. Impact was measured in several ways, including, but not limited to, enhancement of the community, revenue growth and growth in number of employees, acquisitions, green/sustainable efforts, and expansion/development of facilities.
CSI and its employees were recognized for their support of St. Louis area charities and cultural institutions, including the Ronald McDonald House, the United Way, the St. Louis County Library, the Missouri Botanical Garden, Washington University, University of Missouri-St. Louis, the USO, the St. Louis Area Foodbank, and others. The RCGA took note of the fact that CSI has grown to become the largest privately-held independent leasing company in the U.S., and one of the largest in the world, while employing about 300 St. Louis area residents, many of whom have worked for CSI for more than 10 years. Also distinguishing CSI is the fact that their subsidiary, EPC, is a leader in the electronics recycling industry with a Zero Landfill, Zero Export policy.
Hamilton said, “I’m proud of the many ways our CSI team supports the St. Louis community. Not only have our team members done a great job of helping to build a successful business, but they are passionate and generous in donating their time and talents in serving the community.
