TAB Bank announced it has appointed Burton May as Chief Operating Officer. May has been with TAB since 2003, most recently serving in the role of Vice President of Deposit and Card Operations.
TAB Bank provides custom working capital solutions to commercial businesses from many industries. These solutions are provided in all stages of business life cycles during any economic conditions. TAB Bank does this through Accounts Receivable Financing, Lines of Credit, Equipment Loans, Asset Based Loans, Business Accounts, and Commercial Banking Services.
“Burton has been a vital part of our team of commercial banking professionals at TAB Bank for over nine years. He is very skilled in managing multiple projects and complex issues. He has excellent communication skills which are demonstrated in his ability to supervise other management teams and work with key personnel from all areas of the bank. We are glad to have him in the role of Chief Operating Officer and know he will continue to serve our customers, partners, and employees at a high level,” commented Steve Sala, President of TAB Bank.
In his previous role as Vice President of Deposit and Card Operations, May provided oversight and supervision to TAB’s suite of deposit and card products including the bank’s MoneyCard, Business Alliance, and Business Advantage accounts.
He also managed other deposit products and services including savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and commercial banking services. May also previously served as TAB Bank’s Vice President of Business Infrastructure Development managing all types of system and business projects throughout the bank. Before coming to TAB, May worked for over eight years for Accenture in their Dallas, Texas office as a Senior Manager in their talent and organization practice. May received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources from Utah State University and his Masters of Science in Management from Texas A&M University.
