ATEL Capital Group announced the hiring of Brenda Avila-Martin as Property and Acquisitions Manager.

Ms. Avila-Martin is responsible for overseeing the operations of current real estate as well as identifying and targeting potential real estate acquisitions for current and future portfolios. Ms Avila-Martin graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Economics/ International Area Studies and a minor in Spanish. She attended UCLA as a Bill Gates Millennium Scholar recipient. While attending UCLA, she co-founded Paramita Investments – a student run investment fund focused on principal investment through the value investing philosophy. Prior to joining ATEL, Ms. Avila-Martin worked as a real estate investment analyst for Topnet, where she was successful in researching commercial and residential real estate for acquisition.
