Rouse Rental Report: Equipment Values Rose in April

According to the May 2012 Rouse Rental Report, April Orderly Liquidation Values (OLV’s) for used equipment across the fourteen major rental equipment categories increased 1.7% over the March values. 

Additionally, the report states for the six months ending April 30, 2012, average index values increased 6.8%. Ten out of fourteen category indices recorded one-month value increases ranging from 1.1% for Dozers to 5.7% for Articulating Boom Aerial Work Platforms April 2012 auction sales of rental & construction equipment averaged 7.2% higher than Rouse March Forced Liquidation Values according to the report.
 
February 2012 rental rates increased 0.3% relative to January 2012 for the rental companies participating in Rouse's Rental Metrics Benchmark Service.
