Rouse Rental Report: Equipment OLV’s and FLV’s Rose in March

According to the April 2012 Rouse Rental Report, March OLV index values for used equipment across the fourteen major rental category indices increased 1.1% over February values.  The report indicates nine out of fourteen category indices recorded one-month value increases ranging from 0.1% for Rolling Compaction Equipment to 5.3% for Excavators.

As cited in the report, March auction sales of rental & construction equipment tracked by Rouse averaged 4.7% higher than Rouse February FLV values. Rouse recorded 3,731 units that sold at 35 separate auction sales conducted across North America.
 
During January 2012, achieved rental rates increase 6.5% compared to January 2011 for the rental companies participating in Rouse Analytics Rental Metrics Benchmark Service.  However, rates declined 0.2% relative to December 2011.
